What is a 3D print?

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. This means that instead of removing material from a block or using molds, the object is built progressively, adding material layer after layer.

Think of a traditional printer, but instead of ink on a sheet, we have material to be deposited to create a three-dimensional object.

The process begins with a 3D digital model. This model is prepared through a specific program and sent to the printer, which transforms the drawing into a physical piece.

It is possible to create from simple and decorative objects to functional parts, prototypes and very complex components.
